• February 9-12, 2000 Gathering in Rome, Theme: The Catholic Health Care Worker and the Challenges of the Third Millennium* Event will include Mass in St. Peter*s Basilica on Feb 11 (World Day of the Sick), Bishops Synod, Catholic Associations for Pastoral Health Care meetings, prayer vigil, pilgrimage to basilicas, Stations at the Coliseum, and two festivals * Sounds and Lights, Hope and Joy.

• February 16. The Wojtyla Seminars. Don't miss this installment in a the monthly series of give-and-take discussions on the work and thought of Karol Wojtyla, focusing on his 13 encyclicals. Be there on Wednesday evening, February 16, at 7 p.m. in the Vehr Library at the John Paul II Center. The February encyclical-theme: "Apostles of the Slavs (Apostoli Slavorum)" Everyone is invited. • February 26-27 Recommended Parish Mission Time.  Coincides with study convention on Vatican II being held in Rome.  Recommend Dei Verbum (Constitution on Divine Revelation) and Sacrosanctum Concilium (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy) as focus.
